Pampered Pups: Modern Dog Houses

If you’ve seen our Instagram feed recently, you know there’s a new member of the Habitude interior design family – Charley.  At just 17 weeks old, she’s already found herself a job as chief office greeter with coaching from her big brother, Rigley.

A new puppy in the house means we have all things dog-related on the brain. Which is why it should come as no surprise that we think our furry, family members deserve a stylish abode just like their humans.

Even though Charley and Rigley live inside (it gets warm here in Charlotte!) and don’t need a dog house, we think these options would look great in anyone’s backyard.

Designers of modern dog houses are in good company – the famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright once designed a dog house for a client’s 12-year-old son.

The designs by PDW are just too good – how could we choose only one?  If doggies have dreams, I’m pretty sure these homes are what doggie dreams are made of.

This option by Studio Shed is minimal – and just perfect.

While some of our other options are budget busters, this Boomer & George doghouse brings style at a very reasonable and affordable price.

If you have any other options to add to Charley and Rigley’s wish list, please send them our way!
